A Less Radical Approach On Life.

Salutations!

I seem to find myself enjoying life when I am happy, of course this is typical. But it is what I do that makes me happy, that makes me even more happy... get it? I feel so good with myself after I do something nice for someone else. Throughout the day I have challenged myself to do a "Daily Deed", it may seem easy yet it proves to be challenging because many people don't like to step out of their comfort zone to interact with strangers. Okay so for example: after one of my cross country meets, a younger kid from my town came up to me with a phone asking if it was mine. He had said he found it on the field and obviously it wasn't mine so I checked it and there were three missed calls from Mom. I decided to call Mom back and find out who the phone belonged to. It ended up being a little boy's phone from the town next to mine. Instead of having them try to find my house, I offered to drop it off at their house. When I arrived back at the school after my cross country meet I drove in my 1997 Grand Marquis (don't judge) to their house. When the door opened the little boy was there grinning as I handed him his phone. That alone made me feel amazing because I just made his life a small amount better. So for anyone who wants to make their insides feel like fireworks, do a "Daily Deed" by doing something nice for someone. Some things to start? How about holding a door for someone or providing a healthy conversation for someone who seems to be down.
