Be Different.
In my school, everyone strives to be like one another, aside from a select few that I could count on two hands. I have always taken interest in people who are different and aren't afraid to express themselves without the worry of anyone's opinion. These people, in my opinion, are the wild and free souls who go through life with no regrets. Growing up in Germany, I never really fit into the whole "popular clique" of my grade. If you don't mind, I will dub myself a drifter. In the modern high school life, social cliques are dwindling but are not dead yet. I have had many friends from different groups and still hold them today, I prefer to build more bridges rather than burning them. Yet I still haven't found that one group of friends that I can drop my barriers down for. A lot of people in school always have to comment on what I say or wear but I just believe that they are too insecure to try and be different themselves so they rely on looking and acting like the majority of their friends. If you are reading this, you are probably thinking, "Wow, that kid is cocky." But in reality I know you are agreeing with me somewhere in that creative noggin of yours, so act upon it.
Let's Play Pretend.
